Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 1 tablespoon oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 4 cups water
- 4 oz beef
- 1 spring onion
- 1 parsley sprigs
- 1 or 2 egg diced
- 1 tbsp shredded ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 ½ teaspoon light soy
- ¾ teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon cooking wine
- A pinch of pepper
- 1 teaspoon cornflour
Directions:
- In a large pot boil the water.
- Add the rice, and heat for 20 minutes or until rice is softened.
- In a separate pan, cook the beef thoroughly
- Add beef and the remaining ingredients into the pot and let it cook for another 10-15 minutes. Stir well and season to taste.
